Neil McCormick is a character created by Scott Heim for his wonderful novel Mysterious Skin. Abused by his Little League Coatch at a very early age, Neil is now, at 18, a gay hustler and he has problems opening up to people. Gregg Araki made the novel into an amazing movie, and here you can find more information about it. In the movie, Neil's role is filled by the very talented Joseph Gordon-Levitt who gives an incredible and memorable performance. Neil at age 8 is portrayed by Chase Ellison.
